ABOUT THE POSITION: 

As a QA Engineer, you will contribute to developing products, ensuring quality, and maintaining the framework used to ensure quality in Brilliant Future's products. This framework consists of: Junit tests, Feature tests, Regression tests, Acceptance tests, Performance tests, Load tests, Security tests.

You will be an important part of a cross-functional team to ensure that the team's deliveries are quality assured throughout the entire development lifecycle. The QA role at Brilliant Future can also be combined with other roles in the long term, such as Scrum Master, DevOps, or Developer. Therefore, it is also advantageous if you have ambitions to broaden your role in the long term. Diversity is valued here, and building strong teams with different perspectives is important.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in one or more cross-functional agile teams developing products and platforms
  • You are responsible for conducting manual tests and maintaining test cases, as well as maintaining, designing, and developing automated tests with Selenium
  • You work closely with software developers, designers, and product owners to ensure quality at all levels
  • Some support work for other people within the organization may occur (2nd line or 3rd line support)
  • Planning releases, including conducting regression testing of the platform and products
  • Identify and document bugs
  • In the role of scrum master, you may lead meetings, such as standups, refinements, retrospectives, and acceptance testing.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: 
  • Has a degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent
  • Has some experience but primarily a strong interest in software development, testing, and QA
  • Has a strong interest in various software technologies (e.g., .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, Entity Framework, Selenium)
  • Interest in agile methods and frameworks
  • Interest in and some experience with computer technology (e.g., infrastructure, networking, and cloud services)
  • You are welcome to be multilingual, but we need you to speak fluent Swedish
  • Are communicative, social, and engaged
