Who are we

The Agile Tool Support team develops and operates the Swedish Public Employment Service's use of the Atlassian suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

The Agile Tool Support is part of the Agile & DevOps enablement product area, where we influence with our specialist competence in the agile tools used daily by approximately 60 development teams at the Swedish Public Employment Service.

We are knowledgeable in agile methodologies and DevOps principles and guide development teams to become efficient with the help of the available tool support. We enjoy teaching others and learning from each other in the team, which is necessary to contribute and enable within the entire IT business area.

We now need to strengthen our team with an IT technician focused on Jira who wants to specialize in the Atlassian suite. You will work technically with our Atlassian installation, perform upgrades, automations, and integrations, and provide support to users.

Who are you

You find it easy to work independently but also enjoy being part of a team! You are proactive, have problem-solving analytical skills, good collaboration skills, and are good at communicating verbally. You have a strong interest in technology and are driven to learn new things.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the role.

Basic requirements for the position

• Post-secondary education with an IT focus, or relevant and current experience in IT
• Work experience as a Jira administrator for at least two years
• Experience working with agile methods and processes
• Experience providing user support and assistance
• Experience documenting and writing user instructions
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English (non-Swedish speakers will not be considered)

Other qualifications for the position

• Experience with version control via Git
• Experience in operating and managing Java-based systems
• Experience with server environments using Linux
• Experience in automating processes and tool integrations
• Experience with Jira automation
• Experience with Ansible, APM, SQL, Xray, web development technologies, integration via REST APIs, ServiceNow
• Relevant certifications such as Jira administrator

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement, beginning with a six-month probationary period. The work location is Solna with the possibility of remote work up to 49% on an annual basis. You will come to a workplace where we value the balance between work and private life.
