About the job

As an Incident Manager at the Swedish Tax Agency, you will lead incidents during major disruptions and ensure that the right competencies are involved. Information dissemination both internally and externally is part of the role through various channels. You will work at the intersection of service and technology and collaborate with IT technicians, application developers, managers, and internal and external contacts.

Follow-up and proactive improvement work regarding incident management is also part of your job, which involves documentation and report creation. The work is qualified, and you will gain new knowledge daily, both in technology and our operations. Your tasks will also include collecting, compiling, and analyzing statistics that show how well we meet the requirements placed on the incident process.

About you

In this job, you should:

  • express yourself very well in spoken and written Swedish.

You should also have:

  • post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant or several years of current and relevant experience in IT operations
  • several years of current and relevant experience working as an Incident Manager
  • current and relevant experience from a role where you have taken the initiative and driven follow-up activities
  • current experience documenting and structuring the information that the team needs to perform its tasks

It is desirable that you have experience working in large complex IT environments.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and starts with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in a security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
