The Role

As a virtualization specialist, you will work with the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance/performance optimization of the VMware virtualization platform. The job involves analyzing, structuring, proposing, further developing, and implementing the infrastructure and services that match the organization's needs. You will also ensure that the infrastructure supports the architectural target image. Furthermore, you will continuously work with needs gathering, market monitoring, and prioritizations.

Experience

We are looking for an experienced Virtualization Specialist with over 8 years of experience and at least VCP certification (VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization). To succeed in this role, we believe you have solid experience in virtualization on the VMware platform as well as work with IT infrastructure and data centers. You have extensive knowledge of VMware and VMware products such as NSX-T, NSX-V, vSAN, vSphere, ESXI, ESX, vRealize, etc.

• At least 8 years of relevant work experience with VMware
• Good knowledge of patching, monitoring, backup/restore, etc.
• Good knowledge of Windows Powershell and/or other scripting languages

We consider it a merit if you have:

• Certifications in Microsoft such as MCSA, MCSE, or similar
• Certifications in Veeam, Red Hat, or similar
