Mission of the Section/Unit
We are building Sweden's best self-service solutions for over a million users, and we need your help.
Our department is responsible for the strategy and development of the Swedish Public Employment Service's digital services. Within our units, we work with design and user experience of our digital services for the customers of the Swedish Public Employment Service.
Our self-service solutions include digital registration, the job bank, the website, career guidance, a personal profile, and the ability to plan and report activities. We also have teams working on automating processes using digital decisions.
Job Description
As a developer, you will work in a development team alongside other developers, UX, Testing, Requirements, Scrum Master, and Product Owners. We actively work with service design in customer journeys and greenhouses, which often initiates the development process.
As a junior developer with us, you can expect support from a senior developer during the first six months. You will develop advanced components together with the senior developer and have the opportunity to attend relevant training to meet the needs of the organization.
We work with the latest technology and invest in the best conditions for our development teams. We are located in new, fresh premises with opportunities for activity-adapted work.

Your interest in backend development means you are used to constantly working on improvements and enjoy change while focusing on delivery and getting things done. You take initiative and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You have the ability to work systematically and document solution proposals and solutions. You take responsibility for code quality and operational documentation, but above all, you find it fun to create code and solve problems!
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the role.
Our Offer
The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The work location is Stockholm (HK Solna).

Basic Requirements for the Position
- Relevant higher education in system development or equivalent YH education
- Documented experience in system development in Java and/or C# Microsoft .NET
- Documented experience in: SQL Web API / REST Version control, Git Kubernetes / Openshift
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (non-Swedish speakers will not be considered)
Other Qualifications for the Position
Experience in:
- Agile working methods
- Node.js, TypeScript, Angular and/or React
- Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, IntelliJ
- Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Linux
