• As a Cobol developer, you will be a key player in an agile team working according to Scrum and SAFe. You will develop and maintain complex system integrations in a mainframe environment, where the systems are built in Cobol and run on z/OS. Here you will have the opportunity to work with both new development and further development of business-critical systems.

• Development of new features as well as maintenance and support of existing systems
• Responsible for driving your own technical development
• Collaborate closely with team members and other development teams
• Explore and implement new tools and technologies to streamline the development work
• Opportunity to learn modern systems and techniques outside the mainframe environment as needed

• We are looking for an experienced and analytical developer who thrives in an agile environment and has a passion for solving complex problems. You are a team player with good communication skills and a drive to improve and modernize systems.

• At least 5 years of experience in solution development in mainframe/zOS
• Strong knowledge of Cobol and mainframe environments such as Easytrieve, JCL, DB2, Fault Analyzer
• Experience with iCobol, DB2/SQL, JCL, and IDz
• Ability to implement both short- and long-term strategies for system development
• Experience working in a technical leadership role, where you drive and support the team in the technical vision
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Java and Python
• Previous work with modernization and migration of mainframe applications
