About the position

The unit for Facility Information Support is part of the IT department for Networks and Facilities. The department belongs to the IT division and supports the Network division, which has the overall responsibility for building and managing the power transmission system and its facilities. In the unit, we manage and develop the business system IFS, which handles information and maintenance of the transmission network's facilities. You will be part of a dedicated and experienced agile team that further develops and manages IFS.

We are looking for someone passionate about testing

We are looking for someone who is passionate about testing and wants to contribute to increasing testing competence and streamlining testing work in the team. You should also have experience in test management and have previously worked with the development of modular-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases
• Conduct regression tests
• Develop automated tests
• Be responsible for test strategy, test plans, and testing methods
• Plan testing activities in close collaboration with the team, project management, suppliers, and relevant end-users
• Lead and support colleagues in developing and executing test cases
• Analyze test results and follow up on defect management
• Be part of an agile team where everyone helps out and can support in other areas when needed, e.g., further develop and configure the system

About you

Requirements:

We also believe that you have good collaboration skills and are confident in various contexts and can stand up for your own opinions. To be successful in this role, you need to be analytical with good problem-solving skills. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, we see that you are a computer scientist, a civil engineer in data, or have equivalent education in IT or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You also have:

• Several years of current and relevant work experience in testing, including developing test cases and planning tests for complex systems with integrations
• Work experience in test management
• Work experience in developing and configuring solutions in IFS or equivalent modular-based systems
• Work experience in test automation
• Work experience in object-oriented programming and SQL
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you have experience in:

• Test automation of web-based systems in Playwright or similar tools
• Database management in Oracle
• Working in agile teams
