Job Description

In the role of Senior Java Developer, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining applications for our clients. Depending on the assignment, you will work independently or together with colleagues. You will belong to a team of developers, architects, and other experts.

What does the Senior Java Developer position entail?

• Design and develop innovative and scalable applications using Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and business goals.
• Implement and maintain APIs and integrations (RESTful, SOAP).
• Work with backend development and databases.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Explore and implement new technologies and solutions.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Support clients in digitalization projects and improvements.
• In addition to friendly and competent colleagues, you will also have a dedicated manager who supports your career development and works directly with you on projects.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Extensive experience in Java development (Java SE/EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, or similar.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with agile development methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities and your willingness to create value for clients and colleagues.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms: GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Familiarity with: Kafka, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform, Bicep, Helm, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana.
