RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT project manager, you will primarily work with project management and collaborate with the municipality's administrations to support their projects related to the IT unit and its areas of expertise. Your work also includes developing methods for project management, service management, and various governance structures, as well as participating in risk analysis, process mapping, and more. You will also coordinate the IT unit's training within the service offerings provided.

In your role as an IT project manager, you are responsible for ensuring that our project deliveries are carried out efficiently and securely. You coordinate needs and efforts through our work methodology and IT architecture.

An important part of the job is also to continuously capture the needs of the operations, conduct workshops, and translate requirements and wishes into practical and technical solutions. Additionally, you will act as a client and provide support to clients during procurements, both towards internal operations and external suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant education in IT and/or project management or work experience that we assess as equivalent.
• Broad technical competence and experience working with IT systems.
• Practical experience with both traditional and agile project methodologies.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience with procurements according to LOU.
• Certified project manager.
• Worked with similar assignments within municipal operations or other parts of the public sector.
• Experience in driving and conducting investigations.

You enjoy working in teams but are also self-driven and unpretentious, with a strong drive and commitment to what you do. As a person, you are structured and have a clear responsibility for ensuring that projects adhere to both budget and timelines, while focusing on achieving set goals. You have the ability to think long-term and consider the consequences of your decisions, adapting your actions accordingly.

In relation to others, you are attentive and have a good ability to create engagement and participation in the IT projects and assignments you work on. You communicate clearly and have the ability to adapt your communication and approach based on the situation. We place great importance on personal competencies.
