We are looking for a System Responsible IT for an authority in Stockholm.
This is a consulting assignment.
The position is full-time, and a security clearance is required.
The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.
The Assignment
The authority is responsible for ensuring that the electricity transmission system is safe, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective - today and in the future. It operates as a state-owned enterprise and has over 1500 employees, the majority of whom work at the headquarters in Stockholm. The authority is looking for a System Responsible who will work in the area of Power System Data. The electricity market is undergoing a transformation, and new regulations from the EU are to be implemented for the European market. In connection with this, several projects are underway to implement new needs within the Nordic/EU. These will affect the authority in various ways. The task will be to coordinate and develop effective and manageable technical solutions in consultation with projects and the authority. The Model Management Applications unit is responsible for and provides robust, efficient, and value-creating development and management of systems that support business processes with a focus on outage planning, capacity management, and modeling of system operation and future power systems.
The IT supports manage a large part of the structural data for power system information.
The assignment includes being system responsible in IT management and assisting in development and implementation projects. The assignment may also involve work in other projects and managements where development and management of existing systems and web applications are included.
To carry out the assignment, the consultant must be proficient in both Swedish and English, as the work involves communication and documentation in both languages. Tasks
- Transform business needs into effective IT solutions
- Plan and implement users' desired changes according to prioritization.
- Occasionally be a supportive resource in other projects that need changes in the system
- Administer error reports on the system and be responsible for solutions
- Maintain and carry out necessary upgrades and maintenance
- Maintain the system and further develop it according to business requirements.
- Provide recommendations for decisions on commissioning during changes
- Be responsible for coordinating system tests and establishing ongoing management documentation
- Report status and deviations on activities to the IT management leader
- Act as the first escalation point regarding IT incidents for their systems/technical areas and escalate deviations from agreed commitments and SLAs
· Plan and carry out system lifecycle, maintenance, and upgrades
Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)
You have a university degree in IT with at least 120 credits/180 ECTS. Alternatively, you have extensive knowledge and skills acquired through at least 10 years of work experience in the IT sector. At least 8 years of work experience in the IT field with a specialization in applications, infrastructure, in the last 10 years. At least 5 years of work experience in system and application management in the last 10 years. At least 5 years of work experience in business-critical or similar operationally critical systems in the last 10 years. At least 2 years of experience in automated testing (If the requirement is met, a discount of 50 SEK will be given on the evaluation price)
Desirable
At least 3 years of experience in similar roles such as application specialist, systems specialist/responsible, and have worked with master data/structural data, business-critical real-time systems, e.g., real-time DB systems or other industrial systems. At least 1 year of experience from the electricity industry. At least 3 years of experience with integration-heavy systems.
