About the role As IT Security Lead, you will play a central role in protecting Apotea's digital and physical assets against security threats. You will work both operationally and strategically, handling everything from updating virtual environments and patching servers to developing and following up on our security strategy. The role also involves creating and maintaining structures for access management, information security policy, and Disaster Recovery Plan. To ensure that Apotea maintains a high level of security, you will continuously work with risk assessments, penetration tests, and regulations such as NIS2. An important part of your mission will also be to drive security awareness within the organization through training and workshops. Your main responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain security routines – everything from patching servers to updating virtual environments.
• Plan and implement strategies for access management and compliance.
• Manage AD and Gmail groups and ensure that permissions are kept up to date.
• Be responsible for and update Apotea's information security policy.
• Develop and follow up on our Disaster Recovery Plan for critical systems.
• Monitor security threats and proactively protect Apotea against risks.
• Drive security awareness through training and workshops for the entire organization.
• Conduct penetration tests and security audits with external partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as NIS2.
• Implement routines for device management and authentication.

To thrive in the role We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in IT security work and a technical background in networking, systems, or development. You are used to working both operationally and strategically and have experience in server and network security, firewalls, and access management. You are familiar with security standards and regulations such as NIS2 and ISO 27001 and have a natural ability to communicate security thinking within the organization. As a person, you are self-driven, solution-oriented, and thrive in a fast-changing environment where you have the opportunity to influence and drive change. Scope and location of the position The position is a permanent full-time employment with an initial probationary period. The location is at Apotea's office in Stockholm, but travel to our logistics centers in Morgongåva and Varberg may occur. In this role, you will report to the CTO.
