Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work as a consultant for one of our clients to develop and manage solutions focused on machine learning and AI. You are expected to:

• Develop and implement software solutions related to AI and machine learning – from handling large datasets and building relevant data pipelines to testing and producing robust models.
• Design and maintain large-scale data infrastructure to support machine learning projects.
• Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to planning technical roadmaps and documentation.
• Ensure that solutions adhere to good software practices regarding quality, security, and performance.
• Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team together with data scientists and other stakeholders to drive projects forward.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, machine learning, or a related technical field
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably with a focus on supply chain, forecasting, or similar business solutions
• Strong knowledge of software development and DevOps/SRE principles, including testing and version control
• Documented experience in taking AI/ML solutions from development to production in larger organizations
• Solid programming skills in modern languages and at least 4 years of practical experience with Python (e.g., for backend and preferably also with FastAPI)
• Good experience with cloud technologies for ML development, such as Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI
• Familiarity with building and maintaining MLOps and data pipelines, as well as deploying ML applications in production
• Basic understanding of data science and various AI/ML techniques, as well as working with relevant frameworks
• Experience in handling large amounts of data in both batch and real-time contexts, preferably in combination with SQL and DBT skills
• Comfortable with agile working methods, requirements gathering, design solutions, and collaboration with various stakeholders

Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Experience with demand forecasting, supply chains, or similar areas
• Knowledge of version control for models, traceability, and monitoring of AI solutions
• Experience with data-driven development, A/B testing, and model optimization
• Good ability to support and guide others in the team regarding best practices
