IT System Manager
Svenska kraftnät is one of the most important players in the transition to sustainable energy. As an IT System Manager, you will be offered one of Sweden's most important IT jobs, where you will contribute to Sweden's electricity supply every day. We need you to succeed in our vital mission to electrify Sweden.
We currently have about 600 people in IT and we will grow further in the coming years. This is to create conditions for Sweden to double its electricity production and achieve climate goals by completely transitioning to fossil-free energy. To succeed, we will use the latest technology to increase the capacity of our infrastructure while also accelerating the development pace around systems, digitalization, and processes.

About the Position
You will be part of Svenska kraftnät's digitalization journey by being responsible for the management and improvement of one or more systems that support operations in the area of communication. You will lead a team of IT developers and have close collaboration with the business. The business is responsible for internal and external communication, which includes IT support such as intranet, external web, various communication tools for events, publishing, etc.
The team works agile in sprints, and in your role, you will lead the team and the work forward. You will have all the opportunities to shape, contribute, and influence your role and the technological advancement.
Furthermore, you will contribute with a deep understanding of the application and collaborate closely with IT specialists, architects, and technicians. Together, you will ensure that the systems meet tomorrow's needs, maintain high quality, and are accessible. Additionally, you will have regular contact with external suppliers and partners.
The Role Includes the Following Tasks:
- Conduct management activities
- Transform business needs into effective IT solutions
- Plan and execute releases – desired changes according to prioritization
- Manage incidents and problem cases – administer error reports and be responsible for solutions
- Be a supportive resource in projects that require changes in the system
- Maintain and implement necessary upgrades
- Ensure compliance with applicable security requirements
About You

Furthermore, we see that you have a university degree in technology, system science, or computer engineering, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You also have:
- At least three years of current and relevant work experience in system and application management
- Worked according to ITIL, pm3, or equivalent frameworks
- Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Experience in system and application management within web and/or communication
- Experience collaborating with an internal operations organization
- Good knowledge of IT security
- Basic project management experience

- Opportunity for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid
