IMY is now recruiting an IT project manager for the IT and Security Unit (ITS). With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic organization with an important mission that affects all citizens in our society.

Job Description

As an IT project manager at IMY, you will work with the agency's various IT-related projects, primarily focusing on the agency's IT development. You will maintain dialogue with our IT suppliers, further develop our project model, and create templates and tools that work in our operations. The job involves driving our projects from start to finish. You will hold workshops for requirement specification and be responsible for evaluation during the work process and after completed projects. You will collaborate intensively with the agency and the administrators of our various systems.

There are opportunities to further develop this position depending on your skills. At the same time, you will work on several exciting change initiatives within the agency.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic education in the IT field or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer. You have a solid IT background with at least three years of experience in project management with digitization projects. You have experience in feasibility studies and requirement specification and agile working methods.

You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience in implementing AI solutions. If you have a good understanding of information security, this is also an advantage. We would like you to be well acquainted with Practical Project Management (PPS) or a similar model.

As a person, you are development-oriented and independently and proactively drive your tasks forward. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are flexible, unpretentious, and collaborate attentively and accommodatingly with both internal and external parties. You have a good ability to convey complex IT information to colleagues with different expertise within the agency.

To succeed in this role, you have a good ability to understand different perspectives, can quickly find the core of complex information and make the right decisions based on that, and can deliver quality even under high workload. We believe you enjoy variation and work effectively under changing conditions. It comes naturally to you to take responsibility for your tasks and your own development while contributing to the whole and the agency's development.

As a representative of the agency, you are trustworthy, clear, and have the ability to build trusting relationships. You are security-conscious and possess great personal maturity with your own drive.

The Position

The employment is a permanent full-time position. IMY applies a six-month probationary period. The work is based in our pleasant activity-based premises centrally located in Stockholm, with the possibility of individual agreements on hybrid work.

The position is classified in a security class, which means that Swedish citizenship is required for this position. A security screening with a background check will be conducted before we make a decision on employment.
