Cabonline drives the development of the Nordic taxi industry through innovative technical solutions. Their platform streamlines booking, dispatch, and payment processes for transporters, creating smooth and reliable transport services for both individuals and businesses. They are now looking for an experienced backend developer with a focus on Java and AWS who wants to help further develop their platform and contribute to creating the mobility solutions of the future.

As a backend developer at Cabonline, you will develop high-performance applications in Java, with .NET as a possible bonus. You will be responsible for the architecture and design of scalable solutions and work with AWS services. You will build and maintain APIs and microservices that integrate with external systems and optimize performance and scalability. The role involves close collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. You will follow security best practices, improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes, and share your knowledge by mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural decisions.

In the role of backend developer, you will:

• Develop high-performance applications in Java and .NET
• Be responsible for architecture and design, participate in technical discussions, and ensure scalable solutions.
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway, and S3.
• Build and maintain APIs and create microservices that integrate with external systems.
• Optimize performance and scalability to handle large data volumes and complex systems.
• Automate processes by improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment flows.

• Has at least 5 years of experience in system development and software architecture.
• Has deep knowledge of Java, experience with .NET is a plus.
• Has worked with RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Has practical experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3.
• Has a good understanding of databases and large data volumes.
• Has a solution-oriented mindset – sees problems and solves them proactively.
