Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Bellahöjden home care is now looking for dedicated employees for two positions, one for daytime and one for evening shifts. In home care, you work in the client’s own home and provide the care and support that they are entitled to, according to assistance decisions and individual implementation plans. The duties also include the role of a fixed care contact.

Tasks may involve helping with:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Social support and companionship
• Medication management
• Cleaning and laundry
• Accompanying to activities outside the home and much more.

Heavy lifting and solitary work may occur.

All our positions are 100% at the core, and you have the opportunity to apply for leave down to 70%. You will have resource shifts in your schedule, which means you can work certain shifts in other units within the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, and experience in the healthcare profession is considered an asset. You need to provide proof of a protected professional title and approved grades/diplomas from healthcare and nursing education.

You have a positive view of development, are flexible, and see new changes as exciting challenges. As a person, you should have a genuine interest in helping our clients in need of support in their daily lives. One of your strengths is the ability to see their individual needs, and you should be driven by a desire to create the best conditions for a meaningful and secure everyday life. For us, it is important that you are engaged and enjoy your job. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to take responsibility for what is required and contribute to a good atmosphere in the staff group.

You should master Swedish in both spoken and written form (approved in basic Swedish for compulsory school grade 9 or SFI D). A B driver's license is required, as well as the ability to cycle, as both aspects are part of the job.

Experience in home care and working with dementia is an asset.
