The dialysis clinic in Hässleholm currently treats over 30 hemodialysis patients. Within Skåne's northeastern hospitals, there are two dialysis clinics, the other located in Kristianstad. The majority of treatments are performed in outpatient care, but we also have inpatient patients being treated. Within the nephrology unit to which hemodialysis belongs, peritoneal dialysis and home dialysis are also conducted.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now have the opportunity to welcome a new nursing assistant to our dialysis clinic in Hässleholm.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a team with other professional categories, but the work is largely independent, which requires initiative, planning ability, and a solution-oriented approach. You will work with medical technology and be offered a stimulating environment where opportunities for further development are a given.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a focus on acute care/healthcare according to the previous program structure, or a trained nursing assistant within the new program structure who has studied all specializations. Additionally, you should have work experience as a nursing assistant. You also have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. We prefer that you have experience in acute care. Previous experience in dialysis and/or nephrology is an advantage but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to the organization and a desire to contribute to our continued development. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a flexible approach.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of nursing assistant within healthcare and social services. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and are offered a new position, you can retain your title as a nursing assistant until June 30, 2033. At any interview/employment, you need to be able to present proof of the protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed on July 1, 2023. If you do not currently have a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or are covered by transitional provisions, this means that the title in your employment contract will be care assistant and not nursing assistant.
