We are now complementing our wonderful team with two nurses who want to be part of our team and help us move forward in our development! We are looking for someone who is passionate about orthopedic patients and wants to work as a nurse in a smaller ward with high ambitions. We are an orthopedic inpatient ward with an acute mission for orthopedics around the clock, every day of the week, within the surgical area (VO) of surgery, orthopedics, ENT, intensive and perioperative care at the Hospital in Ystad. The ward has 16 inpatient beds.

During the semesters, we welcome a number of students for clinical placements (VFU). We work in student rooms with peer learning. Within the area, there are also surgical and urology departments, a planned surgical department, operating room, anesthesia and intensive care unit, as well as outpatient clinics with which we have good cooperation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient-centered care is promoted through interdisciplinary rounds and nursing rounds for patients with complex care needs. We want to give you, as a newly graduated nurse, the best possible start in your new profession. Therefore, we create and adapt your introduction and development plan together, based on your needs. Reflection and discussion about working methods together with other new colleagues and a clinical teacher will also be part of your development journey.

For you who are an experienced nurse, we will also develop an individual introduction plan together. At the same time, you and your new colleagues will be responsible for the best care for patients and further develop the organization. There is also time for competence development, and you have the opportunity to advance your career with a specialist education.

- We always have a ward doctor present during the day every day of the week, which is a reassurance for me as a nurse. I also enjoy the variety of pre- and post-operative care and patients with complex care needs. We have a good mix of competence on the ward with both experienced and newly educated colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience in orthopedic care and teaching training since the ward is a student ward based on the peer learning concept.
