The psychosis care within VO Adult Psychiatry Lund consists of two psychosis clinics, a psychiatric intensive care unit (PIVA) with sixteen beds, of which three are for PIVA and thirteen for psychosis, as well as psychosis ward three with sixteen beds. One of the psychosis clinics is located in Lund and the other in Eslöv. Our mission is to investigate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients with psychotic disorders. Other diagnoses from the general psychiatric spectrum may also occur based on the available beds.

The psychosis team in Eslöv possesses high competence and is a stable workgroup with a high satisfaction factor. The interdisciplinary team consists of specialist doctors, resident doctors, nurses, specialist nurses, social workers, psychologists, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries. Currently, we have eight specialist/senior doctors with us. All nurses have specialist competence, and several nurses and nursing assistants have completed step 1 training. Teamwork is essential, and our work is permeated by the values of Region Skåne: welcoming, driving, caring, and respect.

We offer close leadership and collaboration with other specialized psychiatric units, which we see as an asset for both employees and patients. The psychosis teams in inpatient and outpatient care have close collaborations and joint forums for patients in crisis and admitted patients. The outpatient units work based on the FACT model.
