As an accounting assistant at Skultuna Messingsbruk, just outside Västerås, you will primarily handle accounts receivable and payable, reminders, supplier invoices in workflow, purchase order matching, and reconciliations of balance accounts such as cash and bank.

You will collaborate with the accounting manager. Together, you form the accounting team. In the long run, this means that the right person, who is proactive and eager to take on new tasks, will develop in new responsibilities and gain broader duties.

Main tasks and responsibilities as an accounting assistant

· Supplier invoice management

· Purchase order matching

· Supplier payments

· Accounts receivable and payment reminders

· Reconciliation of related balance accounts

· In the long run, related tasks and gradual training to build backup and shared roles between you and the accounting manager

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a basic education in economics and experience, especially with accounts receivable and payable flows in modern, digital processes. If you have experience with Visma.net, we see it as an advantage.

Skultuna Messingsbruk AB was founded by Karl IX in 1607 and is still located at the same site by the Svartån river in Västmanland. The brand is the ancient word "SKULTUNA" with the royal crown and the year "1607".

Skultuna has two collections; Home Accessories and Fashion Accessories.

The products are sold through the webshop skultuna.com and in their own Skultuna stores in Stockholm, Skultuna, Gothenburg, and Copenhagen. In addition, distribution occurs through leading stores and department stores internationally.
