Job Description

We are currently looking for a technical writer/documentation engineer for our client!

This assignment will last at least 6 months with an immediate start.

Responsibilities

The purpose of the job is to gather technical information and deliver technical documentation for maintenance and operation manuals.

You will:

• Attend client meetings to ensure requirements are met.
• Participate in internal meetings for feedback and reporting.
• Gather information
• Contact system engineers for clarification or missing information and follow-up
• Collect information, review and ensure correct content before delivery, and drive projects forward within the assigned technical area

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience with a bachelor's or doctoral degree
• Proven planning ability
• Experience with modularized information and content management systems
• Knowledge of the railway industry and preferably After Market operations
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Engineering studies are a plus, but the requirement is to have a maintenance background, train experience, and have worked with XML.
•  5 years of experience in maintenance within the rail industry is a minimum for success.

We prefer that you have worked as a technical writer for a few years.
