JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a person, you take initiative in your work and see what needs to be prioritized from a holistic perspective. You have a high sense of service and are helpful towards your colleagues, ensuring that your tasks are completed in a quality manner. You are confident in your professional role and are responsible and meticulous.

As staff with us, you provide individual and secure care by working closely with the elderly and their relatives, viewing the elderly from a holistic perspective. You will perform certain medical care tasks based on delegation from a nurse. As part of your daily work, you will work in intraphone, which is part of our planning and documentation system. To succeed in the role with us, it is important that you have good collaboration and initiative skills and take responsibility for driving high-quality elder care. Teamwork for Good Quality

We work in teams around the resident with care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and activity coordinators to provide health-promoting care and support of very high quality. This also means that you have reliable support from colleagues, both care staff and other professional roles.

The position involves both day/evening/weekend work.

Part of the job will include shared shifts, meaning you may sometimes go away and do some shifts at another residence within Falkenberg municipality. Of course, this will be planned alongside training so that you feel secure.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained nursing assistant and can provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare that you have the right to use the title. If you are waiting for your proof, you need to show that you have an approved nursing assistant education and that you have applied for and are waiting for proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

If you are applying for a position as a care assistant, the requirement is that you have a care assistant education (equivalent to 800 points) and you have passed Swedish 1. If you do not meet the educational requirement for care assistants, employment as an aide may instead be relevant.

It is important that you have good computer skills and command of Swedish in both spoken and written form. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

OTHER

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare will be required to use the title nursing assistant within care and support.
