JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to help create a safe and homely environment for our elderly in Varberg Municipality. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a team of nursing assistants, nurses, and other staff to provide care, support, and actively promote the health and well-being of our residents.

Your main tasks will be to provide care in the residents' homes and perform delegated medical tasks. You will also support the residents in their daily activities such as dressing, hygiene, meals, and transfers, as well as encourage social interaction and organize activities to create a meaningful everyday life for them.

Documentation is also an important part of the work, and you will be responsible for documenting correctly and securely in our journal systems, which may include reporting incidents, well-being, or changes in health status that need to be addressed.

The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend. This position also includes resource shifts, which means you may work in other departments and units beyond your primary placement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We primarily seek those who are training to become or are already qualified nursing assistants. If you have a license, please include it in your application. The job requires that you have a good ability to adapt your work to the various residents' needs and situations, as well as good collaboration skills. We would like you to be attentive, flexible, and enjoy facing new challenges. To succeed in this role, you also need to have the ability to see both expressed and unexpressed needs in the organization.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both in writing and speaking.

If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EES or Switzerland, you need to present your work permit and show a passport, national ID card, or personal certificate.
