The Home Care Administration is responsible for the needs of elderly people regarding care, support, housing, and activities. The administration is one of the largest workplaces in the municipality with about 2,200 employees. We constantly strive for development and renewal within our area of operations. JOB DESCRIPTION

The Home Care Administration is now looking for someone who wants to work in our night operations. Currently, over 100 nurses work in home healthcare, assessing and performing medical treatment and care interventions in our clients' homes, both in regular housing and in special housing or our short-term unit. We take pride in our elderly care and can offer an exciting and varied job.

A licensed nurse is sought for the night unit. Your role as a night nurse is performed with quality and patient safety. You are responsible for assessment, planning, and execution of medical measures such as medication administration, wound care, and follow-up. You take responsibility for accurate and correct documentation in patient records and ensure that interventions follow applicable routines and guidelines.

You will also provide guidance and delegation to care staff. You are expected to work independently with our patients both in housing and in patients' homes in accordance with the Home Care Administration's core values: Trust - Humility - Respect.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience in elderly care and hospitals. Additional training in geriatrics, open healthcare, or mental health in the elderly is an advantage. Prescribing rights for medications are also advantageous. Good computer skills and knowledge and experience of documentation in systems via mobile phones and computers are required for the position.

It is essential that you are social, attentive, and independent, and have the ability to convey security to our clients.

A driver's license for a passenger car with a manual transmission is a requirement to be considered for the position.
