Description

For the summer, we have a need for substitutes who are willing to work on a continuous weekend schedule.

This means you will work 26 hours per week and receive a full-time salary. The requirement is that you must work at least 8 weeks during the summer to meet the conditions.

Working hours are scheduled on weekends and one weekday adjacent to the weekend. There may be a workday in the middle of the week for 4 weeks (to achieve 26h/week).

There are both day and evening shifts.

The need is primarily within Elderly Care as well as in areas such as Knäred, Våxtorp, Veinge, Skottorp/Mellbystrand, and central Laholm.

Job Responsibilities

In the work within elderly care, one must start from the individual person and their ability to participate in their personal care and social content. This may involve assistance and support with hygiene, such as toilet visits and showers. The work also includes cleaning and laundry as well as social activities such as conversations and walks.

In elderly care, you work with basic care and support based on a respectful and communicative approach, with an emphasis on dignity and well-being for the user you are assisting.

Qualifications

To be considered for employment, you must be at least 18 years old. You should be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You must be able to understand instructions in both spoken and written form.

It is advantageous if you are educated or studying to become a nursing assistant or caregiver, preferably with experience in care and support work.

You should have the ability to perform granted services with commitment based on a good and professional approach. As a person, you are responsible and have good social and communicative skills.

The assignment requires that you are proactive and responsive to the user's wishes, reliable, and have a natural respect for personal integrity. You should be able to work both in a team and independently. You should be able to take on a medication delegation after completing training through the workplace.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Conditions

You cannot combine this job with other work.

A B driver's license is required for work in Home Care. Placement will be based on need. Start date will be agreed upon.
