About the Position

We are now looking for nursing assistants for Björkebogården in Knäred and Solhemmet in Veinge.

The tasks involve providing support and assistance to the residents living at Solhemmet. Support and assist in the activities that the resident needs help with in their daily life, to continue living a meaningful and active life with a meaningful everyday life.

Assist the resident in activities, participate in the establishment of implementation plans and follow-ups, case management, report and document in our support systems, perform delegated health and medical care tasks, participate in team meetings and staff meetings, establish good contacts with relatives and other important people for the individual, contribute with innovative ideas and joy at work, and take responsibility for one or more areas of responsibility that you are passionate about and want to help develop the workplace.

The position has mixed working hours including day/evening/weekend. The work requires that you are a person who can take great responsibility and be self-leading and confident in your knowledge. Your workplace is Björkebogården, but during resource shifts, you may be moved within the planning area after training.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

You are confident in yourself and in your professional role as a nursing assistant, you enjoy taking responsibility and working independently. You should care about the residents' care needs, integrity, participation, and self-determination. You are attentive and work with respect for other people. You are responsible and have the ability to adapt your work according to the resident's needs and see opportunities instead of obstacles and are passionate about providing good service to the residents. You are used to documenting health and medical care notes and have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. You should be able to perform health and medical care tasks by delegation after training. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who sees good treatment as a given, is flexible as a person, and sees your workplace as a team where everyone helps each other. We see that you have a degree from a nursing program and have passed grades in Swedish 1 (A) or Swedish as a second language and social studies 1 (A) or equivalent older education.

It is advantageous to have completed training in dementia care and/or palliative care and have worked more than 1 year in elderly care or LSS.

You are used to documenting and have a good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have a driver's license.
