Biomedical Analyst for Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine in Varberg

Job Responsibilities

Within Clinical Chemistry, there is a wide range of analyses with sections for general/immunochemistry, hematology, coagulation, sample submission, and sampling. We collaborate with the microbiologist in Halmstad and perform certain PCR analyses, etc.

At the blood center, we work with blood donation and serological analyses. We have a blood donation branch at the health center in Falkenberg.

The operation runs around the clock, and you will mainly work varying days, evenings, and weekends.

About the Workplace

Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine Halland is part of Medical Diagnostics Halland, which belongs to the ADH administration, Ambulance Diagnostics Health. We operate at hospitals in Halmstad, Varberg, and Kungsbacka, as well as in Falkenberg. We have about 150 employees in Halland, and over 50 people work in Varberg. The largest personnel category is biomedical analysts, but you will also have laboratory assistants, nurses, nursing assistants, administrative staff, hospital chemists, and doctors as colleagues.

In Varberg, we conduct a high-tech operation in constant change. We are quality-conscious with the patient in focus and have a good collaboration with our customers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst with a focus on laboratory medicine or older education with a focus on Clinical Chemistry.

It is important that you have good teamwork skills, are quality-conscious, and enjoy varying tasks and work pace.

Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
