An important part of our work is our local associations. We are now looking for a business developer who wants to work to strengthen local engagement in the organization.

About the position

As a business developer, you are the link between volunteers in our local associations and the organization as a whole. You support all our active members' work and ensure they have the tools they need to carry out their activities.

Examples of tasks:

  • Conduct internal training for active members
  • Develop necessary templates and support materials for the operations
  • Develop and disseminate internal communication within the organization
  • Manage membership administration and contact new active members
  • Plan and lead activities for member recruitment

Profile

It is a requirement that you have experience with associations and voluntary engagement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for this position.

In addition, we hope that you:

  • Have education in social sciences, political science, project management, or equivalent
  • Have experience leading others either as an elected representative or as an employee in the non-profit sector
  • Have experience in recruitment and engagement-building work within the non-profit sector
  • Have experience in member recruitment within the non-profit sector
  • Have experience in association techniques
  • Have experience in creating and conducting internal training
  • Have knowledge of housing policy

As a person, you should have strong self-leadership, be relationship-building, and be able to motivate others. It is important that you thrive in a role where you are expected to work independently and drive processes forward in a structured manner under changing conditions. Since the role has a supportive function towards our elected representatives, it is important that you are outgoing, have good communication skills, and enjoy supportive roles.

Employment

We offer a permanent position at 100% with a start date as soon as possible or according to other agreements. We apply a six-month probationary period.

The position is based at the headquarters in Gothenburg. Travel to different locations is included in the position. The position has goal-oriented working hours with a 35-hour week. Weekend and evening work may occur.
