Your New Job

We are looking for a new colleague for our F-3 work team starting in preschool class. Together with friendly colleagues and wonderful students, you will have a varied and exciting job!

Your main tasks will be to plan and implement teaching. We see that you are good at creating learning through play and see opportunities for learning in many contexts. You will develop the teaching together with other very experienced and skilled teachers in the F-3 team. During the school year you work with the preschool class, collaboration with the after-school care will also be part of your tasks. Working with safety is central to our school and therefore an important part of your work.

At Dalvik School, you will meet super nice colleagues! Dalvik School is a F-6 school with about 300 students and 45 employees. The school is located on the heights of Jönköping and has a beautiful panoramic view over Lake Vättern and the city. Here, wonderful environments with forests, waterways, and hills are in close proximity to the school. Employees, students, guardians, and trainees at the school testify to a good working environment where well-being and safety characterize the spirit of the unit. Dalvik School is a VFU school, which means we regularly host students from Jönköping University.

For students to achieve this, we need employees who can motivate and stimulate students' curiosity and have high expectations of their ability to develop. We work around the student with a holistic perspective where they should feel safety, joy, responsibility, and independence, providing a good foundation for knowledge acquisition. Your Qualifications: You are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for grades F-3. If you have not yet received your license or are in the final stages of your education, you are also welcome to apply. You are good at building relationships with your students and have a genuine interest in them. You are a leader in the classroom and work with an accessible learning environment where safety and structure are central to meet students where they are. We also see that you are well-grounded in both the preschool class's and the primary school's missions and governing documents. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
