Activity Assistant for Falköping Municipality

What can we offer you?

Activities are a development area in the accommodation for our seniors in Falköping Municipality.

There are two activity coordinators who have overall responsibility for planning and following up on this activity. To assist in carrying out the activities, there are activity assistants who perform various activities based on the seniors' wishes.

You will contribute to social interaction, happy laughter, and feel comfortable socializing with seniors, both in groups and individually.

As an activity assistant, you will work with the following tasks:

• partly plan activities.
• develop and implement activities.
• inspire and motivate.
• create participation and take advantage of initiatives from our seniors.
• collaborate with other staff categories within the organization.
• examples of activities include individual conversations, bingo, reading aloud, walks, bike rides, memory training, and other types of board games.

What are we looking for in you?

The job does not require formal qualifications, but you may be engaged in community activities or have experience, and you enjoy leading activities? Do you play an instrument and like to sing? Perhaps this is your first job, and you are curious about what it means to meet the elderly? Then we think you should apply to us!

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to meaningful activities and social interaction. You need to be able to work independently based on a plan. You are confident and have an easy time collaborating with the organization, where meeting people with different needs is a large part of your daily life, and where individual conversations are also included. To provide good service, you need to have a good attitude and a positive view of people.

You must have a good command of the Swedish language to communicate with your surroundings.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is an advantage.

Information

The position is a temporary position for about 6 months with the possibility of extension. Further information will be provided at a possible interview.

The majority of working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday during the day, with some weekend work every third weekend, also during the day.
