Biltema offers a wide range of products for the whole family in the areas of Car/MC, Boat, Leisure, Home, Office/Technology, Construction, Car Care, and Tools. Biltema markets more than 19,000 items. Our vision is to make it economically easier for people to own a car, boat, home, tools, and leisure items of high quality, thereby creating a richer leisure time for everyone. Biltema currently has a total of 161 stores in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, of which 60 stores are located in Sweden. Biltema is a strong brand in an exciting expansion, planning to open around 50 new stores in the Nordic region in the coming years.

What to Expect from the Position

As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for the following departments in the store: Leisure, Bicycle, Home, and Office/Multimedia. This means you are the extended arm of the management team in the operations. The responsibility entails ensuring that the department is always well-maintained, sales-oriented, and customer-ready with well-stocked and inviting shelves. You will create inspiring seasonal displays, suggest products suitable for end caps, and promote cross-selling. Order and tidiness are among our core values, and in this role, you will ensure that signage and references are clear and correct. You will also be responsible for the department's inventory.

A key part of your role is to motivate and engage your colleagues and share your knowledge about the department's products. Together with your colleagues, you will stock items and coach them to provide Biltema's customers with the best possible service. You are a team player who values close collaboration with other department managers, where you gladly exchange ideas and experiences. We hope you have a particular passion for your product areas and care about a safe environment for both customers and colleagues.

What We Expect from You

We are looking for someone who has worked in retail for a couple of years and wants to take the next step in sales. You are a pronounced service-oriented person with a customer focus. You enjoy taking responsibility, initiative, and have a sense for sales. It is natural for you to go the extra mile to achieve results. You also have an eye for sales displays and effective product placement. Challenges motivate you, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where new perspectives are sought.

It is important that you have an interest in the product areas you will be responsible for within Biltema's assortment, and we therefore want you to specify your area of expertise in your application. Personal suitability will be highly valued, as you must be communicative in both Swedish and English and possess the ability to convey the goal and the path to your colleagues. It is also an advantage if you have previously held a leadership position.
