We are now looking for new stars for our seasonal positions in 2025 and are searching for those who thrive in the spotlight and are passionate about guest interactions.
We are looking for new stars for the following roles:
Amusement Hosts
As an amusement host, we are looking for someone who wants to help create experiences and exceed our guests' expectations! When the season begins, you might find yourself driving laughing children on a ride or becoming an expert at spinning cotton candy. Or you might take the opportunity to work with the culinary experience in the park, coaching families competing in the 5-event games and much more. Our various roles as amusement hosts during the 2025 season include; ride host, shop host, entrance host, park food host, and game host.
Guide at the Secret Fort
On Stora Furuskär, there is a well-preserved underground coastal artillery battery from the 1940s, called “The Secret Fort.” True nostalgia and excitement for all who are fascinated by cannons and secret passages! As a guide at the Secret Fort, your main task is to convey knowledge and history in an interesting and engaging way. You work independently and are responsible for opening, closing, and keeping the facility clean inside and out. Your tasks also include light maintenance of our adventure island. For this role, we are looking for someone who wants to create an experience filled with care, knowledge, and joy for our guests visiting the Secret Fort. You should be able to communicate fluently with our English-speaking guests. Furthermore, you are outgoing and enjoy actively seeking contact with our guests, both big and small. Previous experience in guiding is a plus as you will be leading group tours. We also prefer candidates with an interest in military history.
Warehouse Worker
In the role of warehouse worker, your task is to serve and support all of the park's units with goods. As a warehouse worker, you will work centrally from the warehouse, focusing on supplying the units with goods, which includes everything from sausages and soft ice cream to candy and stuffed animals. In your work, you will start from the central warehouse, where you will also handle goods reception and cleanliness. As a warehouse employee, you will have physically demanding tasks, and you should enjoy working at a fast pace. To thrive in this role, you love interacting with guests and have a heart that burns for service. No two days are alike, and you will encounter new situations every day, which means you need to be flexible, proactive, and have good teamwork skills. A B driver's license is required for this position.
Park Support
At Furuviksparken, we work to create world-class overall experiences, and a very important part of that is a sparkling clean park. The tasks include cleaning restrooms, cleaning staff areas, picking up litter, emptying trash cans, wiping park benches, and other cleaning duties. Since you will have a lot of guest contact, the role requires you to be service-oriented and unafraid to help our guests. In the park support role, you will work both daytime and evening shifts. We expect you to have an eye for detail and enjoy working both in a team and independently. Good physical fitness is a prerequisite for this role as the work can be physically demanding. A B driver's license is a plus.
Gardening Staff
In this role, you will have varied tasks where the goal is to provide our guests with a world-class overall experience every time. You will work with planting plants, maintaining flower beds, raking, mowing, blowing leaves, and more. You will use some heavier gardening machines and other commonly used gardening tools, so it is important that you have good physical fitness as the work can be physically demanding. A B driver's license and previous experience in gardening are a plus.
More about our positions
We are looking for someone who can work most of our summer season, from early May to early September, and especially during our peak season, which is from late June to mid-August. Working hours vary depending on the low or high season and are adapted to the park's opening hours, with schedules varying between daytime, evening, and weekend work. For these positions, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish. We do not offer staff accommodation.
When the summer months are over and the autumn chill creeps in, our park transforms into a cozy Halloween atmosphere, and we welcome our guests to our Halloween season, thus providing an opportunity for extension from the summer season.
Selection is ongoing, so send in your application today. We only accept applications via our website, www.magisksommar.se.
