We are looking for a positive and secure woman who wants to work as a substitute at the preschool as a personal assistant to a 5-year-old boy in Örebro. The boy has autism and is non-verbal, but he is also curious, energetic, and strong-willed. To create a safe and stable environment, he needs a reliable and responsible assistant who can be by his side.

It is important that you are flexible and can step in at short notice when regular staff are absent. This position is perfect for you if you are studying and have the opportunity to work extra as needed. Weekend work may also become relevant in the future.

Responsibilities: In this role, it is important that you identify as a flexible and caring person. Your work will involve varied tasks, including:

• Feeding via PEG.
• Assisting with care and personal hygiene, such as diaper changes and wound care.
• Managing central venous catheters (CVC) and nutritional drops.
• Creating a safe and secure environment for the boy.

We are looking for a responsible woman who is good at reading signals and creating a safe environment around her. It is also important that you have a kind and calm demeanor and are clear in your communication with the boy. Experience in care is an advantage but not a requirement, and personal suitability is the most crucial. Important qualifications and characteristics include:

• Non-smoker.
• Driver's license and access to a car.
• Good physical condition.
• Alternative communication.
• Fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing.

The position is a part-time employment as needed to work at the preschool. Before you start working, we offer introductory shifts to ensure that you feel safe and well-prepared in your new role. The working hours mainly apply to weekdays at the preschool but may later also include evenings and weekends as needed.
