We are now looking for a dedicated assistant who wants to work as a substitute for a 37-year-old man living in Upplands Väsby with his family. He is wheelchair-bound, has a respiratory issue, and participates in daily activities during the week. As a personal assistant to the man, you will be an important support in his daily life and contribute to him living an independent and meaningful life. The tasks include helping the man with his daily activities and managing his respiratory-related needs. As part of Novum Assistans, you will be involved as an employee through regular workplace meetings where the development of assignments takes place. We, as an assistance provider, create the conditions for the tasks that assistance requires, with ongoing competence development based on the needs of the assignment. As an assistant, you will thus have the opportunity for personal development both as an individual and in your professional role as a personal assistant.

Who are you as an applicant? We are looking for someone who has personal suitability for the assignment. For us, this means that you are responsible, empathetic, and attentive. It is important that you are punctual and can keep time, but also flexible enough to sometimes step in to cover gaps in staffing. We see that you are a secure person and enjoy taking initiative, both independently and in collaboration with others in a group. As an assistant in this role, it is important that you speak and write Swedish fluently. If you are also Arabic-speaking, this is an advantage.

It is also desirable that you have good physical fitness, are cheerful, and positive. The chemistry and interaction between you as an assistant and the client are crucial for the quality and experience of the work. Our client's wish is for male assistants to work with him.

The employment is based on an hourly basis and as needed. The working hours vary, and you are expected to be able to work day, evening, and night shifts based on your schedule. We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreements.
