We are now looking for substitutes/temporary substitutes as housing support workers to our team. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! About the accommodation Vega is a service accommodation with 12 apartments and a base apartment with common areas, conversation room/conference room. The service accommodation is aimed at individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions. The service accommodation is located in an area close to Haninge Center and public transport, with the nearest stop about 200 meters from the accommodation and within walking distance to the commuter train at Vega station.

About the role In the role of housing support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.

You will have a group manager close to you who works part of their time in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
