Personal assistance is about providing someone else with the service to live their own life on their own terms, and you will become an important part of making that happen. We need assistance with managing the home and household, hygiene, and everything else that comes with a normal life.

We are two brothers in our 20s with significant disabilities, but with your help, we can live the lives we want and desire. We live in an apartment in Annedal, Bromma, together with our two cats, and sometimes we have two cute little dogs with us as well, so you must not be allergic. It’s a plus if you generally like animals.

You are:

• Curious and like to think outside the box
• Eager for a job and a role where you can develop and receive further training.
• Good at juggling many tasks

• Quick in body and mind!

You like:

• Brisk and long walks sometimes
• Chilling at home, watching movies, or playing video games

We like:

• Action and excitement!
• Cozy home time in front of the TV or games
• Going to the swimming pool, visiting museums, or hanging out with friends.
• Having a nice and tidy home and keeping things organized.

About the position:

• Scope: 50-75% up to full-time
• Staffing responsibility included on a rolling basis after the introduction is complete.
• Your job is always where we are.
• We both work in daily activities during the day.
• Working hours are varied, but it is a requirement that you are willing to work weekday afternoons/evenings.
• Nights (awake) occur but not very often.
• We need assistance around the clock, so this is not a 9-5 job. You need to be someone who can and enjoys working variably.
• We are looking for someone who takes their job and role seriously and seeks a long-term position.
• We both have personal assistance, and you will alternate working with one of us at a time; we want to find someone who is flexible and enjoys variety. Since we do not like the same things and have different needs, your work will vary depending on whom you are providing service to.
• You need to speak and write Swedish fluently as we also need support with AAC and TAKK; if you have previous experience with this, it is a big plus!
• Salary is individual and will be agreed upon with Assistans i Balans, who will be your employer.
