Enskede School is a F-9 school with approximately 920 students.

At Enskede School, students thrive, as evidenced by their responses regarding safety and well-being, employee surveys, and a low turnover rate. We have a very high percentage of qualified staff and a competent student health team with all professions represented.

We are a school that works for an accessible learning environment and focuses on the well-being of students so that we can best meet all students' right to a good education. We strive for our students to be able to benefit from teaching in the classroom with the help of general adaptations and varied instruction. Our operations should be characterized by structure, clarity, and recognition. At Enskede School, all students have a home classroom, and we implement a mobile-free school day.

The school is nicely located in Gamla Enskede with good transportation links, close to the subway stations Sandsborg and Sockenplan, as well as buses.

For the school year 2026/27, Enskede School's upper secondary will move to a new primary school, Betty Pettersson's Primary School, which is also located in Enskede near Sockenplan.

Your role

As a teacher at Enskede School, you are responsible for planning, teaching, evaluating, and assessing in English and Swedish for grades 7-9. You will be part of a working team and a subject team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of the collegial learning to create new and deepened knowledge. You share a mentorship in grade 7. Together, you create the best conditions for our students.

This advertisement concerns a permanent position at 75 percent.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who is primarily a certified teacher with qualifications in English and Swedish for grades 7-9. It is an advantage if you are also qualified to teach mathematics for grades 4-6.

• You should be well-versed in the school's governing documents and assignments.
• You should be a safe and clear leader who creates a good working climate.
• You involve students in planning and develop their ability to learn, both independently and together with others.
• You are accustomed to working with digital tools as a natural part of teaching.

You value and create good conditions for collaboration and establish good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are curious to learn new things and share your experiences with colleagues. You plan, organize, and prioritize your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role effectively.
