About the role and your tasks

We are looking for support assistants for LSS accommodations in Area 7. In this position, you will work at one of our accommodations:

• Västra stationstorget: Service housing with 10 users
• Spolegatan: Service housing with 6 users
• Ringvägen: Group housing with 6 users

The users are primarily young adults and adults, and there are also some older users living here. We work with all target groups and place great emphasis on motivational work and promoting users' participation in everyday life.

We are looking for someone with experience working with obsessive-compulsive disorders, motivational work, and caregiving. If you are also skilled at creating understanding of emotions, thoughts, and working with clear pedagogical methods, we think you should apply!

We work to ensure that our users have the opportunity to be as independent as possible and live the life they desire. In the role of support assistant, you will work to create trusting relationships and collaborations. Through pedagogical support, alternative communication, and care, you and the team will work to provide users with good living conditions and independence. Working hours and communication

Working hours are during the day, evening, and every other weekend. The earliest shift starts at 07:00 and the latest can end between 22:00-23:00; these are approximate times and may change based on the users' needs. In Lund, you will work as a support assistant for 36.33 hours per week.

Västra stationstorget, adjacent to Lund Central Station, offers good communication opportunities.

Spolegatan is a 3-minute walk to Lund Central Station.

Ringvägen is near Mejeriet, about a 15-minute walk from Lund Central Station.

Job responsibilities

• Provide support based on the user's own resources in daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and medication management, among others.
• Provide users with good living conditions in terms of self-determination, integrity, and participation based on the user's life history.
• Encourage leisure and cultural activities and participation in society according to the users' individually set goals.
• Develop implementation plans, document, and conduct regular evaluations.
• Collaborate and communicate with parents, relatives, guardians, and colleagues.
• Be the contact person for one or more users according to the assignment description.

We are looking for you who

• Have approved grades from the nursing and care program, child and leisure program, social and behavioral program, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent is meritorious.
• Can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish as the work involves documentation, meetings with users and relatives, and collaborative meetings.
• Have good knowledge and experience of low-arousal responses and clear pedagogical methods.
• Basic knowledge of digital work tools; experience with epsilon or similar planning tools is meritorious.
• Have experience/knowledge of caregiving.
• Have experience/knowledge of mental health issues.
