Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues concerning personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am an 8-year-old boy living in Bjärnum with my parents, my little brother, and our two lovely dogs.

I am now looking for someone who wants to work extra as needed and has the opportunity to work more during the summer.

I have autism and epilepsy and need your help to do what I wish. Since I use alternative communication, you need to be attentive, patient, and curious to understand me and my expressions. You also need to be proficient in the Swedish language.

I love being outdoors, and it would be fun if you shared that with me. There will be transfers, and you will be physically active during the workday. Therefore, it is good if you are in good physical shape.

As my assistant, I wish for you to be calm, positive, and a bit creative. You also need to be smoke-free and not allergic to pets.

It is important to me that you have a genuine commitment to working with people, that you are secure in yourself, and that you see the assignment as a long-term commitment. Experience is a merit but not a requirement. The most important thing for me is that we enjoy being together!

The position:

• Hourly substitute as needed and summer substitute day/evening/weekend.
