If you also have extensive experience working with language development methods and signs as alternative communication (TAKK), it is a big plus. For us, daily physical activity is a must for both the children and you as an adult, where you actively participate in and drive Norlandiaskuttet together with your colleagues. Meal pedagogy, organic and certified food is a given for us.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference in children's lives. We prefer that you find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive to adapt to children's needs. You have a good understanding of the preschool curriculum and other governing documents based on your profession as a preschool teacher.

Qualifications:

• You have a preschool teacher education
• You have long and broad experience working in Swedish preschools.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both spoken and written.
• You have experience working with TAKK.
• You have good knowledge of the content of the curriculum and feel that you can contribute to organizational development together with colleagues in a collegial learning environment.
• You have good knowledge of Office365

The Vintergatan Preschool is located in Hovshaga, close to Hovshaga center and with a bus stop around the corner. Here we have the forest right next door, a 4H farm within reach, proximity to the library, and a large lovely outdoor area where teaching is combined with movement and activities. We see outdoor activities as a given in our teaching and consider the forest as part of our educational arena. We think innovatively and work forward and carry the systematics with us in our daily lives. At Vintergatan, we can now also proudly showcase our restaurant, which has been awarded two gastronomic stars as the Preschool Kitchen of the Year 2024 in Sweden's public meal competition SOM24. Here, chefs and educators work closely together in our concept Food with Taste. The preschool started in January 2022 and has space for 120 children, and we are in an expanding phase with new families and children coming in.

At Norlandia Preschools, we offer you professional development every term based on the preschool's prioritized goals and initiatives. You will be part of our unique concepts, professional development days at the preschool, central initiatives, and offerings through our digital learning platform.

Employment type: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period

Scope: 75%-100%

Working hours: Daytime according to schedule, the needs of the operation, and the preschool's opening hours. Some evening meetings may also occur.

Start date: 20250501 or by agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
