Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are looking for someone who is calm, secure, stable, and understands that as a personal assistant, you are more in the background and provide a helping hand in various moments. It is also important that you are attentive and adaptable, and comfortable accompanying the client to church.

We are now looking for someone who matches the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 60s living in Linneryd
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• is non-smoker
• wants to work every other weekend and has studies or another job that can be combined
• can tolerate pets as there is a cat in the home

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license
• have experience with MS

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is 30%. The job involves working every other weekend day/evening, every other weekend night with active nights. Week 1 off, Week 2 Saturday 8-14, Sunday 8-23, Week 3 off, Week 2 Friday 14-23, Saturday 23-08, Sunday 23-08 (awake night)

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

immediate or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
