At Unika Segerstadsvägen, we operate two group homes with 4 and 5 places respectively in each facility. Our group homes accommodate a mixed clientele with varying support needs. The group homes are beautifully located in Hovsaga, Växjö!
We are now looking for cheerful, confident, and active employees who want to work during the summer of 2025! There is also an opportunity to work as a substitute before and after the summer.
Interviews will be held during week 14, so you need to be available for an interview on-site at that time.
About the role as a Support WorkerAs a support worker, you will work to provide a meaningful and predictable everyday life with a lot of structure for those living with us. We work goal-oriented based on the assignment plan, maintaining a professional and salutogenic approach while working within the resources and budget of the organization.
We adapt our work based on each individual's conditions and needs, with the starting point being the individual's personal implementation plan. Our goal is for the users to become as independent as possible, and we support them in using their own resources to develop and achieve a good quality of life. Our approach involves low-arousal responses and clarifying pedagogy.
Your work will involve carrying out various types of support interventions. This may include tasks such as assisting with personal care, accompanying on activities, structuring and planning the day, cooking, shopping, and other daily chores that may arise.
Qualifications- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
- Meritorious if you have experience and knowledge of the LSS target group.
- Meritorious if you have a high school education such as child and leisure program, health and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
- Meritorious if you have experience working with a low-arousal approach and attitude.

Employment ConditionsEmployment Type: Summer temporary position, substitute Working Hours: 50 - 100 % Working Time: Rotating schedule, day, evening, weekend. Start Date: By agreement, we look positively on if you would like to work as a substitute before the summer. Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
