About the Position

We are currently looking for someone to work as a personal assistant on an as-needed basis with varying hours for a man in his 30s with cerebral palsy and spasticity, as well as an optic nerve injury, living in central Växjö. The client's interests include socializing with friends, swimming at the pool every week, and occasionally attending events.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily routines such as household chores
• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
• Transfers may require lifting
• Accompanying on activities
• Social interaction

The position involves varying hours during weekdays and weekends. Double assistance may occur at certain times during the week.

• 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• 04:00 PM - 08:00 AM (waiting time 6 hours)
• 05:00 PM - 05:00 PM (waiting time 6 hours)

About You

Requirements: Must be able to swim and tolerate chlorine. Physically strong as manual transfers are involved.

Meritorious:

• Driver's license
• Experience with cerebral palsy
• Experience in care / professional experience as a personal assistant
• Care education or equivalent

Extent: 1 part-time position approximately 68%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations according to collective agreements.
