The Granhult unit plans to open a locked and an open department with space for a total of eleven girls.
Job Description

As a group leader, you contribute to a safe and secure environment for both placed children and adolescents/clients as well as employees. In this role, you actively work in the operational care and treatment work on the department. You are responsible for planning, operationally leading, and distributing the daily work. You act as a role model and promote that the work is conducted legally and in accordance with applicable governing documents, methods, and set goals. You continuously keep the unit manager on your department updated on issues that may affect the work environment, care, and treatment environment or deficiencies in the operation. Introduction and guidance of new employees are also part of your work. You are part of a team with the unit manager and treatment secretary, and you will work closely together to achieve good results.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in the role of group leader, you are motivated to work with and help people in vulnerable life situations. The operational work and meeting with young people/clients are your main focus. You are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively and are clear in your communication with others. At the same time, you are listening and affirming in your interactions with young people/clients and colleagues and good at building relationships. You have a professional approach and a good ability to collaborate as well as to understand others' perspectives. The work can sometimes be challenging and requires you to be stable and remain calm even in stressful situations.
You should also have:
- A university degree of at least 180 higher education credits with a focus on social, health, or behavioral sciences.
- Several years of relevant work experience within SiS or other operations focusing on care, treatment, and security, such as social services, care and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant activities.
- Good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language, both written and spoken.
