Organizationally, the family team is part of the Social Services' outpatient care, where there is a broad and consolidated competence in working with families. The family team is part of the social services interventions that are based on voluntary participation for families needing advice, support, and treatment interventions to provide the best conditions for children to grow up in safe environments.

Within outpatient care, there are several services that all work closely together to deliver competent support to those seeking our help. Outpatient care includes – in addition to the family team - supported housing, housing support, addiction treatment, personal representatives, family supporters in schools, and family support at family centers. Here, there is a workgroup that generously shares knowledge, supports each other, and develops together. No day is the same; you never know how the day will unfold, which requires flexibility and resilience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What does it mean to work as a family therapist?

By supporting and strengthening the family around the child and its development, the conditions for both the child and guardians to thrive in the future are enhanced. Much of the work is tailored to the family's needs for support, whether through individual conversations, group sessions with various themes, or other needs arising from the role of family therapist. Being a natural sounding board for everyday family issues is an important part of the job. A strong focus is placed on relational work, working together to foster good relationships with children and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education from a university/college - for example, a social worker or behavioral scientist.

We prefer that you have training in MI, KIBB, after child interviews, and CBT level 1.

We seek someone with a strong commitment and drive to lead processes, take initiative, have a good ability to build relationships, and be flexible to achieve success. The ability to follow up on work to find the right level requires you to be analytical and open to both the parts that work well and those that need improvement to achieve greater success together with the family. Being courageous and thinking outside the box sometimes is essential for achieving a safe and supportive outcome. Being warm in your approach while still being able to set boundaries when necessary.

Since Lindesberg Municipality is large, you must have a driver's license and be able to drive for work.
