About the Organization

At the Social Services in Hallsberg municipality, about 55 employees work, both men and women of varying ages and years of experience. There is an adult unit that includes financial support, addiction care, open care, and assistance handling. Within the child and family unit, in addition to the investigation group, there are also family law, foster care social workers, assistance caseworkers, and open care.

The investigation group consists of ten investigators, reception secretaries, and a qualified social worker. With us, you will work with engaged colleagues, develop in the field, and work with the most important thing there is, helping children and young people and their parents. We strive for professional work, legally secure handling, and ensuring that those who need support receive it. We have knowledge support, legal databases, and external supervision to assist us. Job Responsibilities

As a Social Worker in the Child and Family Unit, you will work with case management according to SoL and LVU focusing on children and young people aged 0-20 and their families. Your tasks will include making preliminary assessments, investigating and assessing the assistance needs of children and families, deciding on interventions, and following up on these. You will also be involved in the unit's development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work
• Good knowledge of legislation in the area
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written form
• The ability to collaborate with other actors both internally and externally.
• A valid driver's license (B)

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you have training and experience in BBIC, MI, and if you have previously worked with authority exercise.
