Fire Inspector

We are now looking for a fire inspector for an interesting and important assignment.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a fire inspector are varied, with different tasks within the rescue service.

The primary task is the operational activities of the rescue service and regulatory enforcement. Conducting training is part of the job, as well as maintaining the rescue service's equipment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has at least supervisory A or equivalent. Previous experience in training within the preventive area of fire and safety is required.

Experience in handling and supervision under the Fire Protection Act and hazardous materials legislation, as well as knowledge of the legislation concerning the area.

• You must have good knowledge of Swedish and be able to express yourself well, both verbally and in writing, for example, writing decisions and proposals for decisions.
• You are accustomed to working with various operational systems and digital tools.
• Experience in maintaining vehicles and rescue service materials.

Meritorious

• Supervisory B or equivalent.
• Management course for Strength Leaders or equivalent.

Requirements

A driver's license with BC authorization is a requirement.

Duration/Working Hours

Permanent position, Employment rate 50%. Evening work may occur. Start date by agreement.

Probationary employment may be applied.

Salary

Monthly salary. Överkalix Municipality offers flexible working hours and the opportunity for wellness benefits.
