Telenor Shared Services Sweden is looking for Accountant

Telenor Shared Services is Telenor’s business services organization, delivering business-critical back-office systems and services to Telenor entities around the world. Our main services are within Finance & Procurement, HR, and Enterprise IT – like end-user computing, collaboration & productivity tools, ERP, integrations, and process automation.

We are present in all Nordic countries, in Lisboa (Portugal) and in Islamabad (Pakistan). Currently we are building up a local finance team in Sweden and are seeking candidates who like to work locally in an international setting. We are currently 500+ engaged colleagues and are expanding rapidly as Telenor Shared Services (TSS) is an important contributor to the Telenor Nordics strategic initiatives.

We are looking for a person that is comfortable with working in an international organization, with various cultures and challenges. As our accountant you will be involved in both local Swedish tasks and in international tasks, working with standardization and automation of local and global processes.

Main tasks:

• Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual accounts

• Be responsible for VAT and employer's tax returns as well as various tax calculations

• Contribute to selected account reconciliations

• Follow-up of inventory

• Statistical reporting to authorities

•Annual report

• Involved in internal and external audits

• Develop and improve processes and routines

You have good accounting skills and experience of larger companies with complex operations and system environments.

Your background:

• Relevant educational background in accounting

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and similar tasks

• Good knowledge of Excel and used to handling large amounts of data

• Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written.

• Experience of driving change management and process development
