About the role

We are now looking for a Senior Virtualization Expert who wants to design, build, and further develop a platform that makes a real difference for the public sector. You will become part of the Technical Services department (STT) with approximately 500 employees. You will be part of a specialist team within server, virtualization, and storage responsible for our platforms.

In this role, you will work close to the core of the platform and hold a key position in driving technical development forward.

• Design, implementation, and further development of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Build and further develop our private cloud platform for multi-tenant delivery
• Drive automation and standardization of platform services
• Collaborate closely with other technical areas (storage, networking, security, backup, and platform)
• Contribute to architecture, technical decision-making, and long-term development

About you

In this job, you should:

• express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish, meaning you express yourself in a simple, clear, and pedagogical way in both speech and writing

You must also have:

• several years of current and relevant work experience with VMware-based virtualization in larger environments
• several years of current and relevant work experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• current experience with business-critical infrastructure
• current experience and understanding of private cloud architecture and platform thinking

Experience with VMware NSX is desirable. It is also desirable if you have experience with networking, container technology, Infrastructure as Code, as well as Disaster Recovery and resilience design.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probation period.
