About the Role

As an IT Project & Operations Coordinator, you will have a broad and business-close role where you drive IT and digitalization initiatives forward while simultaneously supporting the organization in its daily work. This role is a significant addition to Axel Christiernsson's IT function and suits you if you enjoy creating structure, solving problems, and turning ideas into concrete solutions.

You are responsible for coordinating and driving IT and digitalization projects from start to finish. This means ensuring that IT is involved early in the business's initiatives, that the right people are engaged, and that projects are driven forward in a way that creates real value for the organization.

A key part of the role is to act as the link between the business, internal stakeholders, and external IT partners. You identify needs, build understanding between different parties, and contribute to ensuring that the right solutions are chosen and implemented correctly.

The role is broad and varied. You will work on both larger change projects and more operational issues, requiring you to switch between planning, coordination, and practical problem-solving. A key part of the work also involves contributing to the development of information security. You will participate in initiatives related to security, permissions, policies, and working methods, and support the organization in ensuring that our systems and solutions maintain the appropriate level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and drive IT and digitalization projects from initiation to implementation
• Act as the IT representative in business-driven change projects
• Ensure collaboration between the business, internal functions, and external IT suppliers
• Monitor activities, deliverables, and progress in various initiatives
• Contribute to the implementation of new systems and solutions in a way that creates effectiveness in the business
• Act as the contact point between users and external IT partners
• Support the organization in the daily use of systems and IT solutions
• Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of working methods and processes
• Handle ongoing IT-related issues as needs arise
• Participate in work related to information security, permissions, policies, and routines
• Ensure documentation and structure in projects and working methods

The position is located at Axel Christiernsson in Nol, just north of Gothenburg. You can easily commute by car or commuter train, with the station located close to the office. The work is scheduled on weekdays with flexible office hours. You report to the Group IT Manager.

About You

We are looking for someone who is curious, solution-oriented, and enjoys making things happen. You thrive in a broad role where you can combine IT, project management, and contact with the business – and where you take responsibility for driving issues forward.

We believe you have experience in project management or coordination and have worked within IT, close to an IT organization, or in a role where technology and business meet. You have a genuine interest in digitalization and want to understand how IT can create value in the business.

To succeed in this role, you need to be structured yet flexible. You enjoy collaborating with different people, take initiative, and are accustomed to finding solutions when new questions arise. The important thing is that you are curious, want to develop, and enjoy taking responsibility.
